7th grade lunch was a blast today! Mr. Baum and I played a doubles ping pong match against two students. I'm proud to say, without mercy, Mr. Baum and I prevailed! All my practice has paid off. I'd like to thank all of the 7th grade students who cheered us on. What a great day!

Our new SRO, Officer Pollard, having lunch with our 7th grade students! What a great day to be a Mustang.

Shout out to our student courtesy and respect club! They want to help keep our school clean, so they have started helping our custodians. So proud and honored to have these Mustangs at our school. Thank you for making SMS a better place. #TeamMustang

Students in Mrs. Embrey’s 7th grade math class worked in groups to match the quotient and products of integers. Love hearing all of the math talk that was happening among our Mustangs!

Happy National School Counseling week! SMS is lucky to have a dedicated counseling team to support our students. Thank you for all you do!

TONIGHT: Be a part of Mapping our Future.
Committee work on the Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), began last month as a part of the sixth, and most recent, Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6). The steering committee has been gathering data and conducting surveys to help define the focus of its work as Fort Zumwalt creates its guiding document for the next three years.
At the meeting tonight, participants will hear from the committee about its work so far and have the opportunity to ask questions about the CSIP process and the district’s goals.
