Notes from the Principal:

We invite you to join us at South Middle School on Feb. 6 for the Area Parent Coffee.  The flyer providing additional information is included below.

The Six Flags Reading forms are due no later than Feb. 25.  Please be aware that no late forms can be accepted, so please make sure these are returned on time.

Our School Board Members will be recognized during the week of February 11-15.  These men and women volunteer their time and talents to support the Fort Zumwalt School District.  We take this week to show our appreciation of their service.

Please mark your calendars now for our annual Fine Arts Celebration to be held on May 13, 2019.  We are in the beginning stages of our planning for the evening and will share more details as the evening gets closer, but wanted you to have the date early.

Free & Reduced school meal information for

furloughed federal workers:

Fort Zumwalt School District parents who are furloughed federal workers can complete the  Free & Reduced Meal Application to receive assistance during the shutdown. For questions or more information, Fort Zumwalt families impacted by the shutdown should call 636-272-0016 or complete the application via the link above and return it to their child’s school office.

Fort Zumwalt designed the FORTiTUDE podcast to bring you a new style of conversation about our schools. It’s our hope to bring you important news, interesting conversation and a few laughs.

Clemens Center Spotlight -

Ms. Curtiss has been teaching piano in Music Class.  This year, for the first time ever, MCC has a student who has received a “black belt” in piano!  Students will exhibit their piano skills at the MCC Fine Arts Fair in May.
